The Planning Ministry has released a report on Egyptian initiatives launched to achieve the second sustainable development goal – social justice and inclusion that is.
A number of initiatives have been launched before and after the coronavirus crisis, Minister Hala el Saeid said in a statement Tuesday, noting that those should be linked to the national sustainable development agenda.
She added that her Ministry is keen on following up the implementation of the sustainable development goals and preparing periodical reports to assess the process.
This is done to guarantee social inclusion and justice are achieved, as well as balanced economic development, the minister noted.
She touched upon efforts to empower women and youth, as well as most-in-need segments, in order to maintain their political, economic and social rights.
