President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday delegated Defense and Military Production Minister Mohamed Zaki to lay a wreath of flowers on late Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser’s tomb.
It’s noteworthy that Nasser was the second President of Egypt who led the 1952 overthrow of the monarchy and introduced far-reaching land reforms the following year.
He was born on 15 January 1918 and died in 28 September 1970. He officially assumed office in June 1956.
