Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation El Sayed el Quseir received on Friday a report from head of the Central Administration for Plant Quarantine (CAPQ) Ahmed el Attar about a cooperation protocol signed with Egypt Food Security and Agribusiness Support Project (FAS) in the field of technical support that aims to code field crops.

Attar said the crops that will be initially coded are pomegranates, beans, onions and grapes, among other crops planted in Upper Egyptian governorates.

He added that the CAPQ seeks to maintain cooperation with all development partners with a view to serving Egyptian farmers and boosting exports to various markets.
