Twelve workers are dead and another 28 injured in a car accident on Al-Sharfa Road in the Minya governorate on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Chief of Minya Security Directorate Mamdouh Abdel Monsef was alerted by the Police\u2019s Rescue Operations Department in Minya that a trailer loaded with cement collided with a lorry carrying quarry workers as it stopped besides a restaurant by the Al-Sharfa roadn<\/p>\n
The victims were transported to Minya University Hospital, Minya General Hospital, Minya Fevers Hospital, and Social Insurance Hospital. The police reported the case to the Public prosecution to proceed investigation on it.<\/p>\n
Chief of Minya City Mohammed Sayed said that the collision was tragic, clarifying that the municipal unit of Minya provided necessary equipment to remove the remnants of the accident.<\/p>\n
