A member of the Professional Clubs Association (PCA), Ismail Selim, said on Sunday that the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) will launch a new football tournament titled \u2018Cup of President\u2019 in the near future.<\/p>\n
During an interview with the Radio program \u201cStad al-Hadaf\u201d, Selim added that the tournament will be organized in line with the EFA\u2019s three competitions: the Egyptian Premier League, Egypt Cup and the Super Cup.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe basic goal of the new competition is to increase the incomes of the 18 club members in the PCA,\u201d Selim followed.<\/p>\n
He continued, \u201cwe are currently setting the date of the competition which will be played between the end of the Egyptian Premier League and the new season \u2014 it will continue for two weeks and will be played with the knockout system.\u201d<\/p>\n
