The decision by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to establish a National Academy for Youth was listed on the agenda of the World Youth Forum, which will be held in Sharm el-Sheikh between 4 and 10 November.<\/p>\n
Sources from the organizing committee of the forum said that major international experiences related to the training and preparation of young future leaders will be displayed during the forum and discussed by participants.<\/p>\n
Egypt\u2019s experience in establishing the National Youth Academy will be presented as a model for community modernization and development, the sources said.<\/p>\n
The academy aims at human development in different sectors of the state, especially among youth by upgrading their abilities and skills.<\/p>\n
It mimics the International School of Management (ISM) in Paris, and will be established in cooperation with a number of international institutions. The academy is scheduled to be inaugurated in October 2018 in 6 October City, on an area of 10,000 square meters.<\/p>\n
The Academy will have a Board of Trustees chaired by the Prime Minister. The board consists of members from the president of the republic\u2019s office, and representatives of the ministries of Higher Education, Planning, and Finance, as well as a representative of the Supreme Council of Universities.
\nThe aim of the Academy is to pool the energies of young people to contribute to achieving national objectives, to help the state fulfill its tasks, to spread cultural, social, religious and political awareness among young people so they can contribute to government regulations and policies.
\nIt also aims at developing the skills of young people to meet the needs of the labor market.
\nThe World Youth Forum will discuss the president\u2019s platform for the rehabilitation of young people in different fields and what has been achieved so far in this regard.
