Egypt\u2019s Housing Minister Mostafa Madbouli said Friday that next week will witness the launch of an advertising campaign promoting the sale of housing units in the New Administrative Capital.<\/p>\n
This is the first such launch for the New Administrative Capital, and the first opportunity for those wishing to live in the city, where the presidential palace, parliament and the Cabinet will be relocated.<\/p>\n
Madbouli said that the units offered \u2014 both apartments and villas \u2014 are different sizes and models, all of which have been completely finished.<\/p>\n
The city is set to be a 270-square-mile hub, with 21 residential districts to accommodate five million people. It will feature 1,250 mosques and churches, a 5,000-seat conference center, nearly 2,000 schools and colleges, over 600 medical facilities and a park that is projected to be the world\u2019s largest.<\/p>\n
The new capital will be located between Cairo and the Suez Canal region, boasting its own airport, and will include 490 kilometers square of available land for urban development.<\/p>\n
