CAIRO \u2013 18 April 2022: Egypt\u2019s President Abdel Fatah al Sisi received on Monday a phone call From Jordan\u2019s King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein.<\/p>\n
According to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady, both leaders discussed number of issues of joint interest along with the two countries cooperation and ways to enhance bilateral relations.<\/p>\n
President Sisi and King Abdullah also discussed the latest developments in the region and internationally.<\/p>\n
On April 13, Egypt\u2019s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi called, King Abdullah of Jordan to inquire after his health after doing a successful back surgery in Germany<\/p>\n
King Abdullah underwent last week, a successful surgery to treat a thoracic herniated disc, said Petra News Agency.<\/p>\n
At the professional advice of physicians, the surgery, which took place at a specialized hospital in Frankfurt, will be followed by a period of rest before King Abdullah returns to Jordan, the agency quoted the Royal Hashemite Court as saying in a statement.<\/p>\n
