CAIRO \u2013 2 February 2022: Egypt\u2019s Top Prosecutor Attorney General Hamada el-Sawy announced Public Prosecution\u2019s request for female prosecutors\u2019 assistances class of 2021.<\/p>\n
The prosecutor\u2019s call for female assistants along with their male peers has attracted a huge appraisal from the National Council for Women, headed by Dr. Maya Morsi who expressed her great happiness.<\/p>\n
Morsi hailed the decision calling it a \u201chistoric moment,\u201d showing her thankfulness to the political will that believes in the rights of the Egyptian women to hold all positions without any discrimination.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis announcement is a historical dream as women are considered to obtain its constitutional rights to assume all judicial positions without any discrimination,\u201d Morsi said.<\/p>\n
She further offered best wishes for success to all applicants.<\/p>\n
The National Council for Women, headed by Dr. Maya Morsi and all its members and members, had recently extended their sincere thanks and appreciation to Counselor Mohamed Hossam El-Din, Head of the State Council, for his announcement of accepting applications for the appointment of the 2021 batch, for males and females.<\/p>\n
Dr. Maya Morsi expressed her great happiness, saying: “This announcement is the first step on the way to achieving one of the most important dreams of the Egyptian woman, which she has struggled to reach for over 72 years.<\/p>\n
“My sincere thanks and appreciation to President Sisi, the first supporter of Egyptian women, for giving women a golden age in which all their dreams and aspirations are realized,” she added.<\/p>\n
In October 2021, 98 women in Egypt have been sworn in as the first women judges in the country\u2019s State Council, one of its main judicial bodies that had previously been all male.<\/p>\n
