CAIRO – 10 January 2022: Minister of Higher Education and Acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghafar on Monday inspected Sharm El Sheikh International Hospital and the regional ambulance center upon his arrival at the Red Sea resort to take part in the 4th edition of World Youth Forum (WYF).<\/p>\n
Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghafar said the minister toured the emergency department and other sections at Sharm El Sheikh International Hospital and checked on the readiness of the facility and regularity of its work.<\/p>\n
He also visited the regional ambulance center and the number of ambulances and the mechanism of response to emergency reports.<\/p>\n
Egypt\u2019s 4th edition of the World Youth Forum [WYF] kicked off, Monday with the participation of Egypt\u2019s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi, Lebanon\u2019s Prime Minster Najib Mikati Crown Prince of Jordan Hussein bin Abdullah II<\/p>\n
The forum is held under the slogan of \u2018Back Together\u2019, with the participation of young people from 196 countries in Sharm El-Sheikh. WYF activities are expected to take place until January 13.<\/p>\n
2021\u2019s WYF agenda includes number of vital topics, which reflect the features of the new reality after Coronavirus pandemic, that affected the lives of millions all over the world.<\/p>\n
Participants at the 4th edition of WYF had the choice to participate in the opening session either physically or remotely via the virtual system due to COVID-19.<\/p>\n
The main session of WYF is supposed to Kick off shortly after the opening ceremony, to be entitled \u2018Corona Pandemic: Alarm for Humanity and New Hope\u2019.<\/p>\n
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Egypt on Sunday to participate in the he fourth edition of Egypt\u2019s World Youth Forum.<\/p>\n
President Abbas\u2019 two day-visit comes at President Abdel Fattah El Sisi\u2019s invitation to attend the forum activities, the Palestinian embassy in Egypt said.<\/p>\n
The Palestinian President was received by Egyptian Minister of Environment Yassmine Fouad, a delegation from the Egyptian Intelligence Services, and Palestinian ambassador to Egypt and the Arab League Diab el Louh.<\/p>\n
Also, Crown Prince of Jordan Hussein bin Abdullah II and Lebanon\u2019s Prime Minster Najib Mikati are participating in the forum.<\/p>\n
The Crown Prince\u2019s participation is the third time since the first launch of the forum in Egypt.<\/p>\n
