CAIRO \u2013 10 January 2022: Egypt\u2019s 4th edition of the World Youth Forum [WYF] kicked off, Monday with the participation of Egypt\u2019s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi, Lebanon\u2019s Prime Minster Najib Mikati Crown Prince of Jordan Hussein bin Abdullah II<\/p>\n
The forum is held under the slogan of \u2018Back Together\u2019, with the participation of young people from 196 countries in Sharm El-Sheikh. WYF activities are expected to take place until January 13.<\/p>\n
2021\u2019s WYF agenda includes number of vital topics, which reflect the features of the new reality after Coronavirus pandemic, that affected the lives of millions all over the world.<\/p>\n
Participants at the 4th edition of WYF had the choice to participate in the opening session either physically or remotely via the virtual system due to COVID-19.<\/p>\n
The main session of WYF is supposed to Kick off shortly after the opening ceremony, to be entitled \u2018Corona Pandemic: Alarm for Humanity and New Hope\u2019.<\/p>\n
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Egypt on Sunday to participate in the he fourth edition of Egypt\u2019s World Youth Forum.<\/p>\n
President Abbas\u2019 two day-visit comes at President Abdel Fattah El Sisi\u2019s invitation to attend the forum activities, the Palestinian embassy in Egypt said.<\/p>\n
The Palestinian President was received by Egyptian Minister of Environment Yassmine Fouad, a delegation from the Egyptian Intelligence Services, and Palestinian ambassador to Egypt and the Arab League Diab el Louh.<\/p>\n
Also, Crown Prince of Jordan Hussein bin Abdullah II and Lebanon\u2019s Prime Minster Najib Mikati are participating in the forum.<\/p>\n
The Crown Prince\u2019s participation is the third time since the first launch of the forum in Egypt.<\/p>\n
