CAIRO- 2 January 2022- Egypt targets increasing the number of Egyptian-Japanese schools from 48 to at least 100 schools in the coming period, said Minister of Education Tarek Shawki in remarks to \u201cOn My Responsibility\u201d talk show on Sada Al-Balad T.V. on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The Minister added that over the past period, 37,000 schools have been renovated and developed nationwide, saying that the ministry plans to build new schools.<\/p>\n
The existing Egyptian-Japanese Schools are currently dispersed among 25 governorates (out of 27), including one that has been recently accomplished in North Sinai’s Arish city.<\/p>\n
The curricula delivered at those schools are Egyptian. Yet, the holistic system is the Japanese one dubbed Tokkatsu, which is a kind of student activity that builds the students\u2019 character to be independent and positive.<\/p>\n
