CAIRO – 24 November 2021: The situation in Ethiopia is developing rapidly as the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) is getting closer to Addis Ababa, Extra News reported Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Many countries, including the U.S. and France have reiterated their calls for their nationals to leave the country owing to security concerns, the Egyptian TV channel said. <\/p>\n
The UN has also announced it was evacuating the families of its staff in Ethiopia. <\/p>\n
The Food Program called on all parties in Ethiopia to respect humanitarian operations and to allow aid to reach civilians.<\/p>\n
The World Health Organization said it was unable to give aid and medicine to the Tigray locals under seige by the Ethiopian regime, and warned that civilians in such areas may die due to the lack of drugs. <\/p>\n
