{"id":246150,"date":"2021-11-18T23:44:35","date_gmt":"2021-11-18T21:44:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/almowatna.news\/?p=246150"},"modified":"2021-11-18T23:44:35","modified_gmt":"2021-11-18T21:44:35","slug":"libyan-presidential-elections-get-fiercer-speaker-files-candidacy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/almowatna.news\/?p=246150","title":{"rendered":"Libyan presidential elections get fiercer after Speaker files for candidacy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CAIRO \u2013 18 November 2021: Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives Aguila Saleh turned presidential election race fiercer after he had filed for candidacy Wednesday following other very prominent figures.<\/p>\n<p>Those are Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA) Field Marshall Khalifa Haftar, and Seif al-Islam al-Qaddafi, son of Late Libyan President Muammar al-Qaddafi, who got assassinated in 2011, which made the country fall into chaos.<\/p>\n<p>There are also other popular candidates, who are Aref al-Nayed and Ahmed Maitiq. Nayed is former Libyan Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, and businessman.
