Abdel Ati’s statements came as addressed the Creative Forum held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, organized by Union for Mediterranean (UFM) in cooperation with the Slovenian Foreign Ministry.<\/p>\n
The assistant foreign minister shed light on the role of Egypt’s soft power represented in Al Azhar and the Coptic church to implement Egypt’s foreign policies as Egypt enjoys rich cultural heritage.<\/p>\n
Abdel Ati stressed the importance of the role played by culture in international relations especially in the fields of spreading tolerance and dialogue and combating extremism, racism and hate crimes. <\/p>\n
