{"id":237355,"date":"2021-08-02T23:59:22","date_gmt":"2021-08-02T21:59:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/almowatna.news\/?p=237355"},"modified":"2021-08-02T23:59:22","modified_gmt":"2021-08-02T21:59:22","slug":"egypt-reports-49-new-coronavirus-infections-6-deaths","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/almowatna.news\/?p=237355","title":{"rendered":"Egypt reports 49 new coronavirus infections, 6 deaths"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Health Ministry said Sunday night that 49 new coronavirus cases were detected, upping the total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak in the country to 284,311.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Spokesman for the Health Ministry Khaled Megahed said four patients have died from the virus over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 16,528.<\/p>\n<p>As many as 331 patients were discharged from hospitals after receiving medical care, taking the number of recoveries to 230,699, the spokesman added.<\/p>\n<p>As many as 656 patients were discharged from hospitals after receiving medical care, taking the number of recoveries to 230,368, the spokesman added.<\/p>\n<p>Zayed said her ministry started issuing accredited certificates for those who got Covid-19 vaccines as of today.<\/p>\n<p>Some 126 offices nationwide will be responsible for issuing the certificates for those willing to obtain them, Zayed said.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement on Saturday, Spokesman for the Health Ministry Khaled Megahed said the certificates will be issued for EGP 100 for Egyptians and $10 for non-Egyptians.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that those certificates are fully secured as they have been released by the secured and smart documents complex with QR Codes. When these codes are scanned by mobile phones, the certificate holder\u2019s data, photo and status as regards the virus vaccine will appear.<\/p>\n<p>Work is underway to finalize a mobile application named \u201cEgypt Health Passport\u201d to be used at airports.
