{"id":231224,"date":"2021-06-06T23:42:27","date_gmt":"2021-06-06T21:42:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/almowatna.news\/?p=231224"},"modified":"2021-06-06T23:42:27","modified_gmt":"2021-06-06T21:42:27","slug":"cameras-installed-inside-thanaweya-amma-exam-committees-education-min","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/almowatna.news\/?p=231224","title":{"rendered":"Cameras to be installed inside Thanaweya Amma exam committees &#8211; Education min."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Education Minister Tarek Shawki said surveillance cameras will be installed in each exam committee to monitor what is taking place during high school exams \u2013 known as Thanaweya Amma exams and record any cheating attempt.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking over phone with El Hekaya satellite channel program late on Saturday, the minister said three experimental exams were held ahead of the final one, to take place on July 10.<\/p>\n<p>He said exams will be held electronically (using tablets) with a printed question paper available to all students, in order to avoid any technical problem.<\/p>\n<p>The exams\u2019 answers will be corrected electronically without human intervention, Shawki said.<\/p>\n<p>Students who have not received a tablet will only take exams in paper-form, he said.<\/p>\n<p>All questions will be in the form of multiple choice (MCQ) and there will be a balance between the difficulty level of the questions and the time set for the exam, he said, urging students to choose one choice only.<\/p>\n<p>Students will be allowed to enter the exam with their own copies of the government\u2019s book of the subject that they are taking but other books or papers will not be permitted, Shawky said.<\/p>\n<p>Egypt Today <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Education Minister Tarek Shawki said surveillance cameras will be installed in each exam committee to monitor what is taking place during high school exams \u2013 known as Thanaweya Amma exams and record any cheating attempt.
