The Egyptian Airports Company (EAC) began vaccinating workers at airports across the country against Coronavirus.<\/p>\n
This comes as part of the effective cooperation between Ministries of Civil Aviation and Health, so that the workers in tourism and airport sectors receive the vaccine.<\/p>\n
The Egyptian Airports Company stressed that protecting workers, their families and passengers arriving and departing from Egypt atop state\u2019s priorities, especially in conjunction with the recovery indicators that some Egyptian tourist airports have begun witnessing in in bound tourism movement.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, EgyptAir also began vaccinating members of flying crew who deal with passengers on a daily basis, as well as members of its airport offices.<\/p>\n
While the country has started its vaccination campaign in January, the number of cases keeps on rising, especially as Egypt is currently suffering from a third coronavirus wave.<\/p>\n
This surge is far more than the official numbers, health officials said frequently, urging citizens to stick to the preventive measures against coronavirus in a bid to curb the pandemic spread.<\/p>\n
The number of centers providing the coronavirus vaccine across Egypt has increased to 360, head of the central administration for preventive affairs at Egypt’s Ministry of Health Mohamed Abdel Fattah told Egypt Today.<\/p>\n
