A total of 928,000 people in Egypt have registered online to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.<\/p>\n
Employees and workers at the tourism sector will be vaccinated as of Wednesday in both South Sinai and Red Sea governorates.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are keen on vaccinating all workers at vital sectors, who deal directly with citizens,\u201d read a statement by the Ministry of Health. <\/p>\n
The Ministry of Health has increased the number of centers providing the vaccines by 200 new centers, to raise the total number to more than 300 centers across the country.<\/p>\n
Ninety percent of the elderly people with three chronic diseases who registered were vaccinated, while those who suffer from two chronic diseases, 80 percent of them were vaccinated thus far.<\/p>\n
\u201cA total of 177,000 people were vaccinated at the centers affiliated with the Ministry of Health,\u201d said a statement.<\/p>\n
The third wave of Coronavirus has started in Egypt, with authorities stressing the importance of adherence to precautionary measures to protect ourselves from the spread of the virus.<\/p>\n
