He continued that some vital sectors such as tourism, hotels, and civil aviation were negatively affected by the virus.<\/p>\n
On January 4, 2021, Maait said in a statement that the Egyptian economy is stable and is still able to face the repercussions of the coronavirus crisis.<\/p>\n
He added that the elaborate implementation of the economic reform program and dealing with a proactive methodology helped a lot in containing the repercussions of the coronavirus crisis, and mitigating the shock, to become Egypt, as Bloomberg mentioned, among the 10 fastest growing economies in the world during 2020.<\/p>\n
