{"id":212772,"date":"2021-01-30T03:49:55","date_gmt":"2021-01-30T01:49:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/almowatna.news\/?p=212772"},"modified":"2021-01-30T03:49:55","modified_gmt":"2021-01-30T01:49:55","slug":"egypt-receive-first-batch-oxford-astrazeneca-covid-19-vaccine-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/almowatna.news\/?p=212772","title":{"rendered":"Egypt to receive first batch of Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine in few days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Egypt will receive the first batch of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine within the coming few days, announced Spokesperson of the Health Ministry Khaled Megahed on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n<p>In media remarks to \u201cDMC Evening\u201d talk show, he added that the Egyptian Drug Authority is taking the necessary measures for authorizing the Russian Coronavirus vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>He continued that the distribution of the coronavirus vaccine is optional, adding that those who want to receive the vaccine should register through an online website.<\/p>\n<p>Egypt has recently started vaccinating the medical teams in isolation hospitals, then the senior citizens and people with chronic disease would receive their shots later, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Presidential advisor for health affairs Awad Tag El-Din said Egypt has passed the peak of the second coronavirus wave as daily cases drastically dropped and continues to decrease.<\/p>\n<p>Egypt reported 1,418 new coronavirus cases on December 31, the highest daily count since July 3.
