Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi offered his condolences to Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah on the death of former Kuwaiti defense minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al Ahmed, the elder brother of the late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah.<\/p>\n
The Kuwaiti Amiri Diwan announced that Sheikh Nasser passed away at the age of 72 and he will be laid to rest on Monday morning, the state-owned news agency KUNA reported on Sunday.<\/p>\n
On October 1, 2020, President A Sisi arrived in Kuwait to personally offer condolences over the death of Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber.<\/p>\n
New Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad and members of the emir\u2019s family as well as a number of high-level officials have received the president. Meeting with Sheikh Nawaf, Sisi expressed appreciation to the late emir\u2019s stances supporting Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations.<\/p>\n
Sheikh Nawaf Al Jaber thanked Sisi for his visit, which comes as an extension of historic relations between the two countries and their peoples. He wished the Egyptian government and people peace, progress and prosperity.<\/p>\n
