Participants in the Banking Industry and Future of Financial Services Forum recommended on Sunday to unify efforts to combat the threats of money-laundering and terrorism financing, especially in light of the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n
This came at the concluding session of the forum held under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE). The three-day event was organized by the Union of Arab Banks (UAB).<\/p>\n
The participants also called for preparing an overall study concerning the digital transformation in banks, stressing the importance of expanding financial digital lending technology platforms.<\/p>\n
They also underlined the importance of setting out an emergency plan to face any potential troubles that may affect bank activities.<\/p>\n
