Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfiq said on Monday that all curfew measures set by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli to be adopted in Eidul Fitr to curb the spread of coronavirus will be carried out carefully.<\/p>\n
This came during a meeting with his assistants and security men, at the headquarters of the Communications and Crisis Management Center, the minister highlighted ongoing coordination among security forces all over the country to work out plans for the coming stage, with a view to protecting citizens’ securing and safety.<\/p>\n
The minister was posted via video conference on steps taken in the various Egyptian governorates in this regard.<\/p>\n
Egypt’s Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli on Sunday announced a bundle of measures as part of the state\u2019s plan to restore normal life amid the coronavirus crisis, including the situation during next week, which includes Islamic Eid Al-Fitr holiday.<\/p>\n
The prime minister ordered all public transport, beaches, public parks, malls and restaurants, are to be closed during Eidul Fitr.<\/p>\n
Starting May 30, all malls, shopping centers and services will open and a night curfew will be imposed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for two weeks, Madbouli said.<\/p>\n
The Thanaweya Amma (third year of secondary school) tests will be held starting June 21st, Madbouli noted.<\/p>\n
In mid-June, sport venues and sport clubs and activities will be opened gradually, he said.<\/p>\n
The plan comes as a bid to reduce the number of infections and deaths, achieve a balance between maintaining a normal life cycle and abiding by the precautionary measures, to get rid of the negative psychological effects of the outbreak, and to avoid crowds resulting from services like transportation and shopping.<\/p>\n
