Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said that Egypt attached a great importance for the situation in Africa and the continent’s development agenda, in an interview with Egypt’s Extra News.<\/p>\n
Shoukry said that President Sisi will highlight the file of African integrity during the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly, as part of the efforts to achieve development in the continent.<\/p>\n
The meetings of the UN provides an important opportunity for leaders to discuss and exchange views, Shoukry said, pointing out that President Sisi always speaks about the Egyptian vision towards the challenges, in such occasions.<\/p>\n

Sisi arrived in New York on Saturday morning to participate in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 74) that is set to kick off on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
President Sisi is scheduled to give a speech before the UNGA on Wednesday, where he will touch Egypt\u2019s vision, achievements and stances towards regional and international situations that are discussed, especially in terms of global peace and security, Radi said earlier.<\/p>\n
Sisi\u2019s speech will also international efforts to counter terrorism and extremist thoughts, besides economic, social and development fields and Africans affairs in his capacity as the chairman of the African Union.<\/p>\n
He is also scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with a number of world leaders on the sidelines of the UNGA meetings to exchange views on enhancing relations in different fields.<\/p>\n
