The Egyptian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday has condemned in a statement the suicide bombing that targeted the Green Village in Afghanistan\u2019s Kabul, killing and injuring dozens of people. <\/p>\n
The attack which took place on Monday claimed the lives of 16 people and wounded 119 others, media cited officials as saying. The Taliban armed movement claimed responsibility for the bombing. <\/p>\n
The statement expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and wished a speedy recovery for the injured. The ministry affirmed the support of the Egyptian state to the government and people of Afghanistan in face of all forms of terrorism, extremism and violence. <\/p>\n
Late in August, Egypt also condemned a terrorist attack that targeted a football pitch in Dakuk district of Kirkuk in the north of Iraq, state’s news agency MENA reported. <\/p>\n
The attack left six civilians dead and nine more injured. <\/p>\n
Egypt condoles with families of the dead and wishes the injured a speedy recovery, a statement by the Foreign Ministry said. <\/p>\n
It voiced support for the Iraqi government and people in the fight against terrorism, extremism and violence.<\/p>\n
