The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) continued it uptrend for the third session in row during Sunday\u2019s session, adding about LE 2.37 million to market capitalization, amid Arab and foreign purchases. <\/p>\n
The benchmark EGX 30 hiked 0.65 percent, or 96.3 point, to close at 14,931.66 points. <\/p>\n
The equally weighted index EGX 50 rose 0.45 percent, or 9.86 points, to end at 2,182.44 points. <\/p>\n
The small and mid-cap index EGX 70 inched up 0.25 percent, or 1.39 points, to close at 554.73 points, and the broader index EGX 100 increased 0.45 percent, or 6.54 point, to 1,461.62 points. <\/p>\n
Market capitalization gained LE 2.37 million, recording LE 772.61 billion, compared to LE 770.24 billion in Thursday\u2019s session. <\/p>\n
The trading volume reached 123.35 million shares, traded through 21,427 transactions, with a turnover of LE 622.37 million. <\/p>\n
Egyptian investors were net sellers at LE 41.08 million, while Arab and foreign investors were net buyers at LE 13.58 million, and LE 27.51 million, respectively. <\/p>\n
Egyptian and foreign individuals were net sellers at LE 50.01 million, and LE 151,124, respectively, while Arab individuals were net buyers at LE 10.18 million. <\/p>\n
Egyptian, Arab and foreign organization bought LE 8.93 million, LE 3.39 million and LE 27.66 million, respectively. <\/p>\n
Egyptian Real Estate Group, El Ahli Investment and Development, and Asek Company for Mining – Ascom were top gainers of the session by 9.69 percent, 8.50 percent and 8.28 percent, respectively. <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, MM Group for Industry and International Trade, Alexandria Cement, and Arab Valves Company were top losers of the session by 7.42 percent, 5.31 percent, and 5.20 percent, respectively. <\/p>\n
EGX ended Thursday\u2019s session in green for the second session in row, as EGX30 hiked 1.64 percent, EGX50 rose 0.51 percent, EGX70 inched up 0.40 percent, and EGX100 increased 0.53 percent. <\/p>\n
