Around 528 spaces in Giza have been allocated for performing Eidul Adha prayers, Governor Ahmed Rashed said on Friday. <\/p>\n
He added that security bodies are on full alert to secure those spaces, noting that the General Authority for Cleanliness and Beautification was assigned to intensify clean-up campaigns in the vicinity of mosques and public squares, as well as gardens, parks and surrounding places. <\/p>\n
Rashed revealed that he directed all heads of neighborhoods, townships and cities to pay field visits, with a view to following up the cleaning conditions, in addition to stepping up campaigns to remove encroachments during the Eid days. <\/p>\n
He pointed out that the civil protection department will deploy fire engines next to popular mosques, public parks and gardens overlooking the River Nile, besides archaeological areas and hotels. <\/p>\n
All hospitals in the governorate were put on high alert to deal with any cases during the Eid holiday, the governor said<\/p>\n
