Addressing the audience of a forum organized by the National Council for Women where UN General Assembly (UNGA) President Mar\u00eda Fernanda was present, Hala el Saeed said Egyptian government took unprecedented actions, aimed at increasing the women representation in the public sector and society. <\/p>\n
Egypt is the first globally in matching between the 2030 sustainable development strategy and its goals, which pays special interest in gender equality and women\u2019s empowerment. <\/p>\n
“We are a nation that was led by women in pharaohs\u2019 times: Cleopatra, Nefertari and Hatshepsut. We have a very nice story to tell at a lunch with Maria Fernanda, President of the UNGA during her visit in Egypt,\u201d said Maria Morsy in her speech. <\/p>\n
\u201cProud to share with women ministers a round-table talking about stories of Egyptian women, she added. <\/p>\n
