South Korean Ambassador to Egypt Yoon Yeocheol affirmed that the Egyptian economy has been witnessing notable improvements which are expected to expand during the coming period. <\/p>\n
In his speech at the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) workshop, held Wednesday to discuss enhancing cooperation in Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises, he said that both countries will be celebrating 25 years of joint cooperation in all levels in 2020. <\/p>\n
He added that ongoing economic discussions are taking place between both countries to enhance economic cooperation, especially in the Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises sector. <\/p>\n
IDSC hosted earlier a workshop titled \u201cEgypt and Korea: Towards Enhancing Cooperation in Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises\u201d, where officials from Egypt and Korea discussed the economic cooperation between both sides. <\/p>\n
IDSC head Ziad Abdel Tawab said, commenting on the work shop, that Egypt is keen on supporting the sector of Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises, providing it with all needed resources. <\/p>\n
He affirmed that the government sees that sector as one of the main pillars of inclusive growth and sustainable development, as it counters unemployment and provides a huge amount of jobs. <\/p>\n
He noted that the government has been working on youth and women empowerment through applying effective national strategies. He assured that the Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises sector witnessed huge development in Egypt.<\/p>\n
