Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli directed the cabinet to convene a meeting in New Alameen City in July, asserting that the promising city will be an icon of development in Egypt’s North Coast. <\/p>\n
The government meeting that will take place in a new premises designated for it in the city would send a message of the state’s deep interest in expanding its development plans, he said Wednesday following a meeting with officials from McKinsey consulting company which works with senior leaders in Egypt to shape and implement improvement strategies in key sectors, like healthcare, investment and tourism, and transportation. <\/p>\n
Madbouli asserted that the government is deeply interested in the administrative reform file and restructuring governmental bodies and institutions so as to help them to efficiently carry out their missions. <\/p>\n
The premier’s meeting with Mckinsey company officials covered plans to restructure the governmental bodies and ministries and possible mechanisms to improve their work in a better way to unlock Egypt’s tremendous human potential and strengthen development. <\/p>\n
The meeting was attended by Minister of Planning and Administrative Reform Hala el Saeed. <\/p>\n
Madbouli noted that Egypt has successfully managed over the past three years to implement its economic and financial reform program, adding that the government is currently seeking to carry out an integrated restructuring process that encompasses all the state’s administrative bodies to be able to press ahead with its plans to relocate to the New Administrative Capital. <\/p>\n
The premier was briefed by the planning minister and Mckinsey’s officials on the outcome of meetings held over the past period with various governmental bodies and ministries to stand on the nature of their work to outline an effective integrated restructuring plan that caters for all their needs and help them transform their performance. <\/p>\n
Mabdouli prompted the consulting company to finish preparing its proposed all-out administrative reform strategy to be able to implement it as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
