President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi discussed with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifain a Sunday meeting means of promoting joint Arab actionin light of the current challenges facing the Arab region, according to presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady. <\/p>\n
Talks between the two leaders come as part of their bilateral meetings to probe ways of fostering Egyptian-Bahraini cooperation in different fields, the statement reported. <\/p>\n
President Sisi and the Bahraini king also reviewed a number of regional files of common concern, the statement noted. <\/p>\n
For his side, the king expressed delight for visiting Egypt, hailing the deep-rooted historic relations binding the two brotherly countries and peoples. <\/p>\n
In August 2018, President Sisi participated in a number of events during his visit to Bahrain, according to a statement issued by the presidential spokesperson. <\/p>\n
Sisi held talks with Bahrain’s king and top Bahraini government officials about means to boost mutual ties; the talks also tackled regional issues of mutual interest.<\/p>\n
Moreover, Sisi visited the National Museum of Bahrain, the oldest museum in the Arabian Gulf region. The museum includes a rare archaeological collection gathered from many archaeological sites in Bahrain. The museum is the culmination of the kingdom’s efforts to preserve the heritage and history of the country. <\/p>\n
