The National Council for Women (NCW) has equipped a room to receive women’s probable complaints against harassment, and to rapidly intervene, during Sham al-Nessim celebrations on Monday. <\/p>\n
Complaints can contact with the operation room via telephone number 15115. <\/p>\n
Maya Morsy, head of the NCW, said that the room is prepared to provide social and legal support to women and girls, in the cases they seek to file lawsuits. She stressed the NCW\u2019s continuous cooperation with the Ministry of Interior’s violence against women unit. <\/p>\n
As for streets and around cinemas, female police personnel have been deployed intensively, mainly to secure girls, and protect them against harassment. Also, Female police personnel are stationed in Downtown Cairo. <\/p>\n
