News reports have uncovered a secret Hezbollah cell which was preparing to strike it from the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.<\/p>\n
The reports, most of Israeli media, added that Hezbollah kept the cell, known as the Golan File, secret from Syrian regime President Bashar Al-Assad, stating that the cell is being run by Hezbollah commanders in Beirut.<\/p>\n
Hezbollah\u2019s operatives mixed with local residents and started patrolling the borders from the Syrian side in order to monitor the movement of Israeli troops.<\/p>\n
On Mondy, the Iranian-backed Lebanon\u2019s Hezbollah has called on its supporters to donate money as it suffers increasing pressure from Western sanctions intended to isolate it financially.<\/p>\n
Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said in a Friday statement that Hezbollah supporters must remain steadfast in the face of these pressures and said the group’s enemies would be “disappointed.”<\/p>\n
“I announce today that the resistance is in need of its (popular base),” Nasrallah added. \u201cThe sanctions and the terror lists are a form of war … we should deal with them as if they are a war.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Friday, Hezbollah condemned the UK government for listing it as a terrorist organization, saying the move showed “servile obedience” to the United States.<\/p>\n
\u201cTheir actions will not be able to make us poor, hungry or isolated. Those that support us will continue in their support \u2014 be they countries, people or our people and the people of resistance in Lebanon,\u201d Nasrallah said.<\/p>\n
Hezbollah was founded in 1982 by Iran\u2019s Revolutionary Guards, its actions seek to destabilize and spread chaos across the Arab region.<\/p>\n
The group controls three of 30 ministries in the Lebanese government led by Western-backed Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri.<\/p>\n
