Abdel Wahab is an Egyptian singer, actress, TV host and a former judge on MBC’s \u201cThe Voice\u201d talent show. She is considered one of the most prominent female artists locally and in the Pan-Arab region. <\/p>\n
Abdel Wahab was born in 1980 and started her career in 2000. Two years later, music producer Nassr Mahrous, who strongly believed in Abdel Wahab, paired her with Tamer Hosny on the same music album. <\/p>\n
The album achieved booming success; Abdel Wahab and Hosny became mega stars. <\/p>\n
Abdel Wahab has released a plethora of successful songs, including \u201cMasha\u2019aer\u2019\u2019 (Emotions), “Albi Leek” (My Heart is For You), \u201cGarh Tany\u201d (Another Wound), \u201cLazem Ayesh\u201d (I Have to Survive) and \u201cBatamenak\u201d (I Am Assuring You) among others. <\/p>\n
She acted in only one movie, \u201cMido Mashakel\u201d (Troublemaker Mido), alongside Egyptian megastar Ahmed Helmy. Her only soap opera, \u201cTare\u2019y\u201d (My Path), was released in 2015 and achieved great success. <\/p>\n
Abdel Wahab is famous for her emotional, melodious voice that has a significant touch of intimacy. She is consistently hailed as one of the most talented and successful singers of her generation, often dubbed as \u201cThe Queen of Emotions\u201d for her popular romantic ballads. <\/p>\n
Abdel Wahab released her latest album \u201cNasai\u201d (Forgetful) on October 8, which marks her birthday. <\/p>\n
