Egyptian Ministry of Planning launched a new Women Executive Leadership Program, within the initiative of assuring women vital role in society, said Hala El Said, the Minister of Planning on Wednesday. <\/p>\n
El Saad gave a speech in the opening ceremony, where she stated that this program is held under the patronage of United Nations Women Program and Missouri American University. <\/p>\n
\u201cThis program is the most significant program within the frame of developing the administrative system. It is a training program that mingles between practical learning approach and theoretical learning approach.\u201d El Said reported. <\/p>\n
\u201cThe program also comes with the frame of Egypt\u2019s 2030 Development Strategy,\u201d Minister said, \u201cEgypt has an inspiring plan for up-dating the administrative system of the country.\u201d El Said further stated. <\/p>\n
\u201cAbout 43% of the administrative system was taken over by women; only 27% to 28% occupying leading roles. We try to increase this percentage up till 43%; women are half of the society supporting the other half.\u201d Minister reported. <\/p>\n
The training program includes a set of courses: \u201cWatni 2030\u201d (My Home 2030) program, Social Gender and Development Master Degrees in Faculty of Economies and Political Science at Cairo University, in addition to \u201cRowaad 2030\u201d (Leaders 2030) program other in schools and universities. <\/p>\n
This program is the first- of \u2013its- kind in the Middle East that aims at increasing women skills and abilities, helping them to make essential changes in their lives. <\/p>\n
Furthermore, the program lasts for 6 months and will be divided into 30 sessions; each session will be taken in three hours. By the end of the program, trainees should submit ideas aim at developing their work. “By the end of the program, trainees will be able to manage their time, think wise, create ideas from scratch, take right decisions, predict and evaluate work atmosphere,” she said. <\/p>\n
This program is valid and licensed by international agencies. All the trainees will get a certificate valid by the organization of IBDL. <\/p>\n
The minister has called upon all ministries, and governmental agencies to nominate women for joining this program “due to its significance.” <\/p>\n
