The AOI was established by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. However, in 1993, Egypt became the only owner of the organization. <\/p>\n<p>The AOI is believed to employ thousands of employees and hundreds of engineers. The organization is also responsible for meeting civilian requirements including the transport and sanitation equipment besides its military responsibility. <\/p>\n<p>The military aircraft factory was established in 1950 and then joined the AOI in the seventies of the last century.
